Thrust disc
A structural element of the hydrogenerator, together with the segments, forms a thrust friction unit. The thrust bearing disc attaches to the thrust bearing collar. An insulating gasket is installed between the thrust collar and the disc to prevent thrust currents. The friction surface of the disc is called a mirror.
