A shaft and control ring for a hydro turbine were repaired, including:

1) replacing the old shaft casing with a new one, maintaining surface accuracy and roughness requirements;

2) restoring the worn radial surface of the control ring by welding a wear-resistant coating and subsequent machining, maintaining the specified accuracy and roughness.
