A successful repair of the hydrogenerator shaft line was carried out, consisting of the following stages:

1) development of a technical project for the repair of the hydrogenerator shaft line with replacement of the rotor sleeve, which is both the thrust bearing sleeve and the guide bearing;

2) manufacture of the rotor sleeve and components;

3) dismantling of the old rotor sleeve;

4) repair of the shaft (grooving of the seating belts for mating with the new sleeve) and the thrust bearing disk (installation of an electrically insulating layer, restoration of geometric parameters for flatness, parallelism and roughness);

5) installation of a new rotor sleeve;

6) supervision of the shaft line installation at the hydroelectric power station.
